The American Cancer Society’s 19^th Annual Climb to Conquer Cancer

WHAT: The American Cancer Society’s 19^th Annual Climb to Conquer Cancer, sponsored by the Tucson Fire Fighters Association

WHEN: Saturday, March 12, 2005 from 8:00 a.m. to noon. Registration begins at 7:00 a.m.

WHERE: Beginning at Pima Community College West Campus, 2200 W. Anklam Road to the top of “A” Mountain

WHY: Climb is the oldest and largest one-day walking event of its kind. The money raised supports the American Cancer Society’s programs of research, education, advocacy and service. This is a fun event to get your friends and family together and join the Tucson fire fighters for this leisurely 3 mile walk to the top of “A” Mountain where participants will be greeted with food, music and massages –free!

COST: $40 per person registration fee before March 12^th, $45 day-of event includes t-shirt.

WHO: More than 1,500 Tucsonans will make the trek up to “A” Mountain and team or individual registration is still available! Purchase a flag in honor or in memory of a loved one to be placed alongside the track. Before March 11^th purchase a flag for just $15 by calling 323-4201.
